how to force a route using a specific ferry.
Planning a route uk - spain and want to go via portsmouth to Bilbao. No via option in route planning and putting in stops just results in going to portsmouth and then driving to dover and then to Bilbao. As if it doesn't know about the Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry. In the past there was a via option in route planning. Any idea's how to force it to be youe slave instead of master

When you want to add a stop on a route you can do it by pressing and holding the spot on the map for a second until a marker appears.
So start by doing the same in the English Channel just off the Isle of White until the Ferry you want is offered. If you want the Portsmouth Santander Ferry you do the same but in the Bay of Biscay. Having found and selected now Tap the plus against that connection at the top and input Bilbao Ferry and the route will then complete between Portsmouth and Bilbao ferry terminals. . You can then add more stops as required.

Always Plan... Start --> Final Destination --> Then add Stop/s
(1) Start....
Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) Search... I entered... Worcester
Tap the offered Worcester (Centre)
A quick menu opens Tap the 3Dot Icon... I Choose 'Use as Starting point'
(2) Final Destination....
Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) Search... I entered... 'Madrid'
Tap the offered Madrid (Centre)
A quick menu opens Tap the ( Drive ) Button
The route calculates....
(3) Add to Current Route....
Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) Search... I entered... 'Portsmouth Bilbao'
Tap the offered Portsmouth-Bilbao
A quick menu opens Tap the 3Dot Icon... I Choose Add to Current Route
The route calculates.... to include Portsmouth-Bilbao

The MyDrive Web Route Planner works OK too....It has never worked for me trying to plan a Ferry route on the App or the Website.

I realise its more of a pain but... Plan 2 routes...
Route (1) Home --> Ferry Embarkation
Route (2) Ferry Disembarkation ---> Final Destination
Stay Safe... ATB YFM
