    I have the same problem with my 5200 I've tried everything I can think of, occasionally it will work for around 10 minutes then the status changes to "disconnected" and it could be days before it will work again and when it does it's only for about 10 minutes. Interestingly it works fine using WiFi at home or using my phones data connection as a hot spot because it says it can not connect via Bluetooth (yet my phone is connected via Bluetooth as I can make and receive calls through it?!)
    I bought the 5200 because of it's built in SIM "Lifetime Traffic" "Lifetime Speed Cameras" & "Lifetime Maps" It feels like Tom Tom has somehow disconnected the SIM card after just 12 months of use!
    Any help any one can give, would be gratefully received?
