MyDrive Connect Bought Map Unable to Install

My UK map needed to be updated (last update May 2019). As I didn't appear to be offered a free update on MyDrive Connect I bought a new map. It started to install, eventually, and I left it doing so overnight. It doesn't appear to have updated on my Start25 as it's still showing the older map version. Now constantly getting stuck on 'device not connected' when it is or 'your device is not responding'. Have done everything suggested including two soft resets. Can anyone advise before I give up entirely and switch to Google maps? thank-you.

    Did you get this sorted already?

    I reviewed your account and I don't find a device linked. We had a server related outage during the weekend which has been resolved.

    Have you tried to update the device again?
