Got rider 550 for Christmas having seen several very good reviews. Gutted that no one mentioned that it won’t pair with Apple AirPods. Now I have to fork out for a comms device. Best reviews I’ve seen have been for the Cardo Packtalk Bold. When I looked on the TT list of devices that work, it’s not listed. However, it’s the one they show pairing in the YouTube video - any advice welcome!

It will work with it.
Anyhow, Packtalk has only two BT slots. If You have to connect phone, navi & PMR (Sena SR-10), there's 3 devices and one of them has to left out.
Sena accepts 3 devices.5

Hi @Adamburwell1
Welcome to the community!
The headset used in our video is a Scala Rider PackTalk which is also listed as compatible on our support website- https://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/25645
The headsets listed there been tested with the RIDER for stable Bluetooth connectivity and good sound quality by our team.
That does not necessarily mean that the RIDER will not pair with the Cardo Packtalk Bold. However, if there are any connectivity/ sound output/ pairing issues(Bluetooth related) those will be out of our support parameters.

Why does my Rider 550 state "Please connect a Bluetooth headset that does not require a PIN code" when I try to connect with my Packtalk Slim? It does not need a code. This happens when I connect the phone first, then try to connect to the 550.0

I tried using PackTalk slim's app to open up 2 Bluetooths, one for the Headset and one for the TomTom. But it can only use one? Please advice.0
