I have this problem on mine and the wife's GO6200 . We are both unable to get traffic to work on our devices although both devices say ' Traffic Activated'. Going through the menu on both devices it says ' GPRS Status Disconnected '. I have looked and tried via the TomTom website to sort this problem but failing miserably . Please can somebody help me ?????

To check and enable the GPRS to work you need to be out of range of your Wifi.
To check if it is working Charge the unit up for 2 hours or have it attached to a power source.
Take the unit outside well away from buildings and trees etc with a clear view of the sky all around. Turn the unit on then when working hold the ON/Off button down for about 20 seconds plus until you hear the drumroll sound then let the button go. When the unit has restarted now create a route and the ready for you to drive off place the unit down and leave foe 30 minutes or so and see if it now connects with the sats.

@MickMick62 I guess your at Home and your device is connected to your Home Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi when connected it will take priority over GPRS SIM
Try moving out of the Range of your Wi-Fi
Or
Logout of your Wi-Fi....
Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Settings --> Wi-Fi
Tap on your Connected Wi-Fi
Tap (Modify) Icon
Tap (Finish) Icon
To verify the Wi-Fi is OFF Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) screen top right Wi-Fi logo with an 'X'
To Reconnect to Wi-Fi....
Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Settings --> Wi-Fi
Tap on your chosen Wi-Fi
Enter your Wi-Fi Password
Tap Done
Tap Connect

Also Note... If you are connected over USB to power your device AND MyDrive Connect is running on your PC... Then the USB connection will also take priority over GPRS SIM

Now we need @VikramK or @lampard to check your account to see if there is something they can do at their end to finally resolve this matter.
Look back here tomorrow.

I am referring to the connection problem.

I have asked the team to make some changes in the backend. I would suggest that you do a factory reset on the device and log in to the device with your TomTom account to activate TomTom Services.
Once done test the device on a planned route and see how it goes.
