How to add a map to a new device from my old device?

My Tomtom recently broke due to the battery breaking so i cant access it. so i purchased a new one off of someone online i recieved it today and i am trying to add my ireland/Uk map to the new device but am unsure of how to go about this the new device has a American map on it due to the previous person owning it all i need to know is how can i add the UK map i had previously on my other device to the new device i have recieved today? if thats possible

I am afraid you cannot transfer a map from one device to another. The maps are locked to the Serial number of the device they came with or were bought for.
