Problems getting updates to load onto Sat Nav

Hi,
Both my so & I have a VIA 52 sat nav & whilst I can ( and have) install updates through My Drive connect without any issues, when we connect my sons device (using his acount of course!) updates available are listed but when we try to install them nothing happens. Also when we try to log onto his TOM TOM account we just get the reveloving corcle showing al the time as if it's processing but after over an hour nothing has happening. I'm guessing the 2 issues are connected but if anyone has expereinced a similar problem or knows how to reslove it any help would be much appreciated before i try to contact customer services

try reinstall of mydriveconnect using revo uninstaller. reset the device and connect for updates or else contact the customer care.0
