update to truck map full europe

Hi, i have TomTom START 50/5 , original software coming with a central europe for car (small car),i want to upgrade map+software, so i just bought full europe map+truck. i read somewhere that i can`t upgrade my tomtom anymore. If i can`t,what should i do?cancel the order? And if i can upgrade what should i do?where do i find the map? i use TomTom my drive connect. my device dont support TomTomHome. Thanks !

Your device has 8gb of internal memory and is still supported by Tomtom. I have successfully added a Camping map to a similar unit and was able to input vehicle size data like the truck map devices so it may work. If it does not then as I say contact Customer support.
