Hi @Chrisbullet
Do you have the “Always use device speaker” setting turned OFF/ON in the App under 'Settings>Audio'?
If it's off, it is necessary to check that the “Media” volume is set to a value high enough. If it's on, please check that the “Ringtone” volume is set to a value high enough.
Please note that the setting “Always use device speaker” is not recommended or useful if you don't have a Bluetooth connection to the car audio system.

Welcome to the community!
Could you check the settings for media volume on your phone?
Settings > Sound > Volume> Media (Should be set on the higher side)
I assume that the visual alerts on the screen are still working?
If the volume setting does not help please mention here the phone model and the Android version installed.
Regards
Vikram
Need some more information to forward this as a bug-
Installed Android version?
Do you still see the visual alerts for mobile cameras?
Does the app give you alerts(visual and sound) for fixed speed cameras?
Regards
Vikram
