Hi all, having got no usefull help from online chat I thought I'd try here.
I've planned a route on the App not starting from my current location but cannot run a route preview as the option is greyed out. I also have a TomTom go basic and on that for the same route the preview works fine.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
In my mind you have two options.
1. With the go mobile app you can use a Fake GPS App like this:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incorporateapps.fakegps.fre&hl=de
So you can fake your current location as you will include traffic.
2. Wait till the new App TomTom Navigation is for you availabe. There it is possible.
hope it helps a little.

Thanks, I at least my assumption that it doesn't work the same as the Go Basic was correct.
I won't do a year's subscription until I get the app upgrade and confirm it fixes the problem.0

I have taken the 1 month sub to check the app out, I hope the upgrade arrives before 13th Jan so I can check it out before I take a further year's subscription. If it still doesn't work same as Go Basic I might as well stay with Google Maps , which have other advantages like most shops, hotels etc actually shown on the map.1
