Hi, can some one tell me how I find coordinates from a saved location on 6250 PROFESSIONAL????
I’ve saved coordinates from a delivery place(tricky to find that place) and now one friend need to go to same place. How can I tell him coordinates using 6250 device instead of google maps? 😏

If you know the answer, pls say! If not, don’t send me to search on a thousand of posts!
So I ask again: how can I find coordinates of a saved location on my 6250? At least when I click on “more information” gps coordinates must show!
I’m starting to regret I’ve buyed this gps! Tom Tom need to do a lot of improvements on their “professional gps” ! 😒😒😒😒😒0 -
Hi
@Bpnav6250
Coordinates.....
Tap on the 4Dot (.... Menu) (Bottom left screen)
Tap Search Icon
Tap (Top right on screen) Tap Whole map Note…… On some units (I think) it says Installed Maps
Scroll down
Tap Latitude Longitude Icon
By the way... When the device has a "GPS Satellite lock"
The Latitude and Longitude shown on the screen as an example is....
Live for your location
When inputting coordinates using DMS format, you can't enter seconds as a decimal point
Example N 50° 31' 10.62'' W 4° 1' 55.95''
But If you simply round up or down the second's entry in the example
I.e... The North decimal point to 11" and the West decimal point to 56"
It gives B3212 Sampford Spiney UK
If you tap the offered Sampford Spiney UK
The Map will open at the location
Tap the blue "Drive Steering Wheel" icon to drive there
Or
Tap the 3Dot Icon and the Quick Menu will open with more options ie...
"Add to MyPlaces"
"Use as a starting Point"
"Search Near Here"
Note... If you already have a route planned and want to add a coordinate location to the route, the 3Dot Icon Quick Menu will have an extra option...
"Add to Route"
__________________________
Also.....
Example inputting coordinates using GPS format, for example, If you enter N 52 23.488 W 2 12.501 it's a field in Worcestershire UK
In the text, the New GO range will display the coordinate location and underneath, offer the nearest road location as a destination, in this case, an (Unnamed location) Hurcott UK(1)... Tapping the Black Pennant Icon opens the "(Unnamed location) Hurcott UK" Tap the blue "Drive Steering Wheel" icon to drive there
Or
Tap the 3Dot Quick menu for more options... See the above "Sampford Spinney" example for more info
(2)... Tapping the Globe coordinate Icon only zooms the map into the Globe Icon (Tapping the Globe Icon on the Map does nothing)... Pinch zoom the map down until the Black Pennant Icon is in view... Go to bullet point (1)...
If you Tap the dual function Icon (3Lines & 2Circles
You can toggle between a Map and List view or tap the Keyboard Icon to return to the Coordinates menu screen
If you pinch-zoom the map screen, it will show the coordinate location on the Map
The GO will give you the coordinate location and will show it on the map, but can only plan a route to the nearest road access point

Hi @Bpnav6250
You cannot get the Long/Lat coordinates of a specific point on you device other that that of where you are. Even if you have saved places there is no way to find the coordivnates of the position unless you are at it.
The way I would do it is to download the Mapcode App to my phone and using search and the hybrid map locate the specific point you are interested in. When you do that you are given an Address , a Mapcode and the Long/Lat for the position. When you have the map open you can move the map around until the cursor is over the exact position you want. The Hybrid map is like Google Earth.
Mapcodes re accurate enough to identify a parking bay in a car park and if they work on a Truck unit then they work World Wide. If you input KJ.SF in search on your unit whilst you are in Romania and select the search result then if Mapcodes work on your device it should direct you to Half way along Intraea Italiana in Bucharest. Long/Lat 44.43739 26.10930. If you are dealing with a Place in another country you will have to put the Country code in front ie GBR DH.FX which is the middle gate at the front of Buckingham Place in London.
If your colleague has a Tomtom unit, which are the lonely units that use mapcodes then you only need to give hime the KJ.SF rather than the Long/Lat.

Hi
@Bpnav6250
See the MDW Route planner... https://mydrive.tomtom.com
(1)... To convert Marked Location to a MyPlace...
Firstly... On the device Convert your Marked locations to MyPlaces
Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) --> MyPlaces --> Marked locations... Tap on the Marked location & follow the on-screen instructions... edit or accept the offered name
Repeat for the other Marked Locations
(2)... Convert MyPlaces on the device to... Coordinates....
Open the MDW Route planner & login with Email & Password
Your new MyPlaces will sync to the MDW Route planner
Go to your MyPlaces list
Click on the required MyPlace... The Map will Zoom in with your MyPlace centred on the screen
The the https:// link contains the Coordinates
Note... If the newly synced Myplaces are no longer requires delete using the Tiny Trash Can Icon
Note... Ignore the .16 at the end if refers to the present Zoom level of the MDW Route planner screen
Tip... You can Copy & Paste the MDW Coordinates (Not the whole https:// link)
