Advanced route planning/ Programming multiple routes/ Purchase Advise/ New device TomTom
I am new to delivering mail with Usps. There are a lot of rural routes and can easily get confusing and lost.
1. Is it possible to program my mail route into the gps?
2. Can I program multiple routs in the gps as I am not always going to be on the same route?
I am looking for something I can program with when/where I am supposed to turn and make u-turns. It would be unrealistic to input 700+ addresses per route.
Thank you,
Chris

TomTom has the MyDrive Website and apps to create and manage routes. Also GPX routes and tracks can be imported using MyDrive web.
Routes can easily be synced over te air to a TomTom PND using WiFi ore a connected Phone.
The PND has a MyRoutes menu with all your routes/tracks.
Its also possible to import ITN routes and GPX routes an tracks using a micro SD card or USB cable on the device.
For routes with U-turns it better to use a (ITN) Route. If you import a ITN route on the device it can have 255 Stops.
With MyDrive you have to use send destinations. Max 21 Stops.
With Save Route MyDrive will sync the route as a track.
A track is better for a roundtrip where stops are less important and when you like to follow exactly the same roads.
Creating your own programs to send routes to a TomTom PND isn’t supported. But it is possible see my site below.12
