Can anyone from TomTom explain WHY MISSING NEXT ANNOUNCED MAPS UPDATE v10.35 for the GO Mobile Android app. When we pay, TomTom requires strict adherence to timing. And now, we're waiting, waiting ... By when? The promise must be fulfilled. Or don't make any promises.
Regarding the map release (v10.35) for Go Mobile App (Android), we're still facing some issues with it and unfortunately, I have no further information at the moment.
Hi all, I got an email saying my map update is ready to download and for the life of me I cannot get through to do that! Says Servers are busy, retry, which I have now done 6 times, then I turned everything off (as suggested) and retried another 3 times! Whats happening please?
For a connection problem with the message "Busy servers" often a clean installation with a fresh copy of My Drive Connect (MDC) solves the problem.
Try to do thas:
With your device Not connected to the PC:
1/ Uninstall MDC, accept the removal of downloads in the popup window.
2/ "Restart" your PC (Not Shut down or Sleep)
3/ Download and install the last version MDC, take it here:
- On this page, at the bottom, the green button "Download for ...": https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/mydrive-connect/
- In the popup window, keep ticked at least "Download updates on my computer (recommended)"
4/ "Log in" with your email and password in MDC.
5/ Connect your device.

Thanks for the info. I will remember that next time it happens. However I had to also clear Tomtom data in the registry. That worked.
