TomTom Home does not allow me to manage my device via my computer...why?

I have updated the Home-program to the latest version without luck.....

    Uninstall it,(make sure to have backups etc of anything you need)download an older version (2.9.91.411 works and stop it from updating by changing the version number in the ini file to one that is high )and it will allow you to do what you want.Just dont update tomtom home again in the furture.Hope this helps.

    I have the same problem along with the inability to "Operate my TomTom Rider".
    I get the following error msg:

    "This functionality is not yet supported for your combination of navigation device, your devices application version and your computer's operating system" (Windows 10).

    My Rider has s/n K4 …….. I have the latest device S/W per TomTom.

    Officially that functionality has been discontinued. See my reply here

    User -Joseps on that topic came up with a work around, perhaps it helps?
