Why sync to device as track and not route?

DavsatoDavsato Posts: 4 [Apprentice Seeker]
ive just bought my 1st tomtom, when making a route on mydrive route planner it will only sync to my rider550 as a track which then isnt much use as it wont recalculate if you go off route. is there an option to sync as a useable route not a track?

    Hi @Davsato

    Welcome to the community!

Are you sure that you have not selected the option to sync the route as a track in MyDrive web?

If NO then this could be related to a known bug.

    Thats right.
But Note: In MyDrive you must click on "send Stops" or "send Destination".
I recommend to save the route in MyDrive anyway, so that it is easier to restore it when updating your device
The problem is that the routes are only converted to tracks when the device is connected to WIFI or USB /MyDriveConnect to the PC.

    No, that doesn't work either.
Beginning to regret swapping from garmin :(
