On our old Go700 it showed the direction of travel in degrees or just a North Arrow would help
Why isnt that facility still available perhaps as user eselectable part of the screen setup?

I'd just like to add a comment that in my view, the arrow is poorly designed as with a quick glance while driving, it's not easy to see which way the arrow is facing. Something like this would be much better.

Sorry about that, you didn't state a Device Model in your Profile or Post
I assumed it was one of the latest NAV4 or NAV5 (Wi-Fi) devices

Tap the arrow in the circle (picture 1).
The arrow should now point left (picture 2).
This will allow the map to turn when you turn, so now your driving arrow is always pointing up and sit at the bottom of the screen. It allows you to see what side streets are coming up and traffic conditions ahead.
