My 6000 won't switch on

When I go to switch on my 6000, the TomTom logo comes up but it doesn't go to the next stage - i.e. it doesn't properly switch on. The usual start-up sound doesn't play either. I've tried holding down the on/off button, as TomTom's YouTube advice suggests, and after a while the logo disappears and then reappears but still it doesn't properly switch on. Help!

    Yes, the battery is charged.

    My device won't go beyond the TomTom logo coming up on screen (without the sound). If I hold down on the on/off button, the logo disappears after a while and then reappears. I never get to the point where the wording appears on screen and I can connect and recover.

    Hi, what is resolve this problem. Today, I have the same problem. I download the new upgrade and after that finish start normally. I check again and download something more and upgrade. After that reset and I have only on the screen 'tomtom'. I cannot any thing else, only 'tomtom'.
