How to change a written language?

I've got a new TOMTOM start 62 for my car. The alphabet to give in the addresses and to read instructions is unknown to me. Do I have to send it back to the shop?
I already registered it on my computer

    Welcome to the community :)

    I think the current language interface is not selected to English.

    Try the steps below:

    On the map screen tap on the 4 dots to bring up the main menu:

    Swipe to the left till you see the cogwheel- Settings icon

    On the next screen again swipe of the left to find the icon System and tap on it:

    On the next screen tap on the third option-Reset device

    Now when the device reboots you will be offered the option to select a preferred language.
