syncing gpx files from mydrive to my rider 550

When syncing files from mydrive to my rider 550 do I have to keep track within mydrive as i've noticed that tracks disappear from my rider if I delete same from mydrive.

Yes if you delete a Track in My Drive then your associated Tomtom units on that account that sync routes with it will have that Track deleted from them.
It seems that if you delete a Track on the Rider it will not be deleted from My Drive. Should you want it to resync that Track with your Rider then deselect the Sync with my device option against that Track in MyDrive and then Re-Select the Sync with my Device then it will reappear on your TT unit..
