Can't edit my Map in TomTom MyDrive

This is annoying the hell out of me. I have create a map, saved it. I then go to edit and it does absolutely nothing. I then start again with a start and finish and try to move the "white dot" as I do edit the rides slightly and then it loops the route! I have been at this map now for hours and am getting absolutely nowhere. May resort to Google Maps at this rate!
