Connect to WiFi for new user

I have just got a new tomtom go premium. I tried to connect to wifi, found correct network, entered correct password, tomtom said 'saved' then 'authentication problem' What to I need to do?

I think the first thing I would do is Go into Wifi in Settings and tap the Network and then tap Forget. Then I would try again checking carefully the Password you put in.
Does the Router accept new pieces of kit ie tablets ,phones or PC's without a problem.

I had this problem and customer support told me to contact my ISP because it was not a problem with TOMTOM. Don’t listen to them. The answer I got on the third attempt was to connect by WPS. Worked first time0
