TomTom Go Android All Icons Grayed out

I have installed my in car Android Oreo Device.

All menu Icons are greyed out, i can't set an address or navigate to anywhere with out manually selecting on the map.

I cant change any settings, all icons are just greyed out.

Am i missing something?

To be frank, that's not really an answer. The head unit has the google play store that lets me download the app and pay for it. If they do not support it, then they should state so.

They were happy to take my money.

I have the same issue but ive also upgraded as i had it in another car and worked great does this mean ive lost my £14.99 aswell

Hey was there ever any resolution to this? I too downloaded it direct from play store (it wasn't marked as not compatible), paid the upgrade and am hitting the same issue with grey icons. Any way round this or is it just a case of finding a different offline sat nav solution?
