Hi guys can you help me. Please

My brother Gave to me his GPS
But I need to change the email associated with.
So my GPS is connected to my brother's emai, and I need to change for my account!!!
How can I do it? Do you know if with this change I lose my map dropped places???

I think he will have to contact the customer service and ask them to unlink the device from his account so you can link it.
