NO GPS Signal

in Devices using TomTom HOME
I have attempted to update my Dad's old TomTom One with the April 6 update...however, I cannot find it. I updated his TomTom Home to the lastest installation...I added one QuickFix, but that did not solve the problem. Still get the messaging "Waiting for a valid GPS signal." HELP!

    Turn the unit on then take the unit outside away from buildings and do a Reset followed by Create a Route on it. Then wait to see if it now finds Sats.

    I am having this same issue....Tried the suggested Soft Reset away from the building and selected a Route to HOME but am still getting the Wheel of Death with Waiting for a Valid GPS Signal...

    Hi @shelleychaser

    Have you got a backup if not do one then try a Factory Reset then. If you get offered a Partial reset select that .

    still got the wheel of death "Waiting for a valid GPS signal. Fully updated device and have tried everything, Been waiting for a signal now for 4 days, Will be buying a new device tomorrow, though definitely not a TOMTOM. What a load of S...T
