Tom Tom Go 50 Update has frozen at 19% - what do I do?

I have tried to update my TomTom Go50 to the latest update But it has frozen (no change over night) at 19% 47 minutes left.

The Device says Updating Do Not disconnect your device!!!!!

What do I do now?


What I have done..

Updated MyDrive Connect to the latest version : 4.2.5.3766 (Mac)
I have a 300mbps internet connection
Connected my tom-tom Go 50
Followed the onscreen instructions
Entered the various passwords it requests
Let the update running with uninterrupted power etc.

The freeze has been frozen now for some 12 hours (over night)

What do I do?

    No Antivirus or fire walls, But bit the bullet shut down and restarted and it worked! :)

    Might you have an antivirus or firewall affecting proper transmission?

    Disconnect the device. Shut down MDC. Restart MDC. Connect the device and try again.
