Hi,
so, you have one PND navigation device and you need to transfer the user data, to a smartphone device ?
What about to have a smartphone device and before hard reset or after a damaged device to buy a new one ? How to transfer your
1. application settings
2. history list
3. favorites
4. something else
is there any way to do this ?
According to tomtom philosophy this don't need it. This is not my personal opinion. i have talk with help desk. Probably apps like Sygic, Locus maps, Orux maps, ...., have opposite working philosophy. What can we do? That's life.5 -

Hello Ineam,
Thanks for your response to my question.
But in the meantime, I did a search in my smartphone, and I realized that I can use the Google Maps to give me a GPS, at least near at Wi-Fi, and I can do a download of the route that I want, and use it when driving.
Anyway, your tips are good. It's always good to know anything from people which are expert in any matter.
Thanks again for your attention, and have a nice day.

Hello Hatamoto2019,
please don't misunderstood the ability from tomtom to backup/restore user data, with the opinion "stay away from this navigation solution".
I have the tomtom go app, into my device as free user (75Km per month). It has very good maps, to much options into app settings and route control. For me it has the best car route algorithm and of course without the need of internet access (off-line navigation).5 -

Hello Ineam,
Again, thanks so much for your concern about my question. :-)
Reading your text, I found that you are using TomTom into your device (iPhone, Smartphone?) for free?
Did you get it in the Google Store for free? Please, if you have a time, let me know about this, because would be nice to have TomTom into my Samsung Galaxy J3 2018 (off-line navigation).
And for free, much better, isn't? :-)
Thanks Ineam, and have a nice day.

I am using tomtom go app, into android smartphone from the first day appear into playstore.
this is the link
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tomtom.gplay.navapp
this latest tomtom software is common into PND, iOS and Android.
we can use this app as free or paid user. into free use we can have only 75 km per month. Paid users has unlimited Km. We can buy this app from inside the app menu. We have 2 options
- per month (30days) 6€
- per year (365 days) 20€
my suggest, use it as free user for a small period and make your tests
Then if found is good for you needs, you can buy5 -

Hi Master Ineam, good morning to you.
As usual, you are giving me a really good tips for my previous questions!
I will try to do your tip about the TomTom in my android smartphone.
You had said that using the TomTom into the device, I'll have only 75 km/month; it's enough for me, once there are a few places that I will need the TomTom into my smartphone.
So, you are a true Master in these matters! Thanks a lot for that, and have a nice day. :-)
Cheers,
