Struggling with new software on GO 610 and POI's

Hi I have transferred my POI's from a GO 25 to my GO 610
How do you add a new contact in your POI folder, I am going to new customers addresses but cannot find out how to add my location to the POI folder
Many Thanks

Sorry... You can't edit/add/delete a individual POI within a POI Category on the device

You can add/save a location to MY Places for reference
Then save the appropriate POI Category to your PC & edit the POI Category offline
Then reload the edited POI Category back using the MyDrive Web Route planner
There are many free POI Editors available online

or take my go 25 with me and save the location on that and update that to my drive then transfer that to the 610 , what a hassle, seems like tomtom has gone backwards instead of forwards with some technology

    Hi @Sandman1970

I am afraid you cannot add new POI sites to a POI file you have added to your unit.

You can use a 3rd party software like POI editor to add new items to your Poi file as you need them and then replace the POI file on your GO610 as you need to.

You can add new items to your MYPlaces (Favourites) on the unit until you have a few and then having updated the POI file with POI Editor delete them from the MyPlaces folder.

The Poi file that you created (in .ov2 format), you must upload to MyDrive
When your device is synced, you can find it in "my places" on your device
