Go 50 slow start up then unresponsive touchscreen for ages - any fixes?

When I turn on the Tom Tom Go 50, it sometimes works fine, but increasingly it sees to take ages to start up, then you get the screen with 'menu' in the bottom left corner, and the touch screen doesn't respond for ages or sometimes at all. Sometimes it even turns off again.

Have done a reset. Not sure if it is to do with device getting cold in the car, charger being a bit dodgy, battery or something else. Anyone got any fixes or ideas for this please?

    Certainly a cold device may indeed take longer to boot up properly. A dying battery may also be the culprit.

    Thanks @dhn . Do you mean a battery that needs charging or needs replacing?

    You could try charging for a couple of hours in a mains charger or attached to the computer for 2-3 hours with the usb cable (device can be off). See if that helps before going the replacement route.
