No route possible error - Using the route saved through MyDrive web
It allowed me to plan one route on MyDrive, and transfer it to the unit.
I’ve now been trying for hours to transfer a second route......it shows it on the unit in My Routes, but when I click on it, it states ‘No Route Possible’!!!!!!
This is by far the hardest piece of technology to work out I’ve ever had to deal with!

Are you planning the route directly on the Rider 550
Or are you using the MyDrive Web Route planner Here... https://mydrive.tomtom.com
Is the route in a different Country

The first route planned and transferred fine, and is in My Routes on the unit. I tried a second route, again in the UK, it shows in the list on My Routes in my unit but when I click on it it reaches 99% then an error message ‘No Route Possible’ shows on a blue banner across the top of the unit screen.
I’m really scratching my head.

Is the route a simple A to B or a multi stop route if multi stop zoom into the stops... Check the stop is in the correct side of a Motorway/Dual Carriageway is it badly placed up a side-road or on a roundabout
Have you chosen an 'Avoid' in the Setting menu that conflicts with the route
Are you using the Plan a Thrill option I seem to recall Avoiding Unpaved roads + the Plan a Thrill option can cause conflicts

Once I’ve planned a route, both A to B and routes with my own stops, I ‘send destination’........the unit displays ‘Lets Go’.....I go into ‘Current Route’.......then press ‘Add to my Routes’.......and it works.
By doing it this way, all routes are now listing in ‘My Routes’ and working. However, some have a solid arrow next to them others have an arrow with a dotted stem?

The 'Send to Device' quite literally means send the planned .ITN Route to the device
it doesn't store the route in MyRoutes
See this thread.... For using .ITN Routes (Send to Device) + Workaround

Why can’t anyone come up with a simple way of doing things, so simple people like me can get it straight away? Maybe one day.........
That might happily eliminate three quarters of the forum questions. I second the motion.

@outdoor
Do all the roads that your GPX Track/s use/s, display as actual roads on the GO App Map, or are they Off Road ???
