ERROR: OOPS, THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH CONNECTING TO TOMTOM SERVICES

Brand new Rider 550, I have suucessfully connected to my home WiFi (verified in 'system/about'), and completed both Soft & Hard resets (multiple times), I have used my existing TonTom account email & created 2 new accounts and still have no luck connecting to either 'Updates & New Items' or 'My Drive' (although I have successfully connected to the My Drive App on my mobile). I have also tried connecting using USB via my computer & the My Drive program, however this only seems to allow copying of route/waypoints using the computer file browser.
How do I up-date my device/maps?
