TomTom Start 20 How to use an installed map from memory card?

I just purchased the map of USA. As I had too little space on my internal memory (I have TomTom Start 20) I bought a memory card. I inserted it and got it formatted. Then I installed the updates and the USA map.
I can see the USA map on my device but it is on the memory card and I don`t know how to access it. I read that I would have to choose it from my HOME devices menu but when I click on my device I just see the device. Or I see the map but it doesn`t give me the opportunity to change it to active.
I don`t know if I made myself understandable. I hope someone can help. Thank you in advance.

I assume that your Start20 has the EU map installed in the internal memory. Our devices can only manage one map at a time. You must switch the maps, make the USA map active.
For this on your device:
==> Tap the screen to open the Main Menu/Settings/Switch map/ the map you want use (USA)

Don't forget to do QuickGPSfix updates (valid 7 days). When you are in the USA your Start20 will take time to find the satellites, go outdoors in a clear place without buildings and wait, according to this FAQ up to 45 minutes.
