Can't change time zone on GO 620, even though it's set to Australia?

Hi. I've got everything working on my TomTom Go 620 except the current LOCAL time.
Under Settings, Language & Units, Time and Date I've set it to 24 hour clock, it's showing up as Australia, but on the "driving screen", the time shows 2355 +11, and I don't know what else I can do.
It also connects to my Smartphone (Android Galaxy S8) for live traffic, but isn't picking the time up from there either. In Bluetooth, I have ONLY Data for Traffic & other services set and Hands-free calls and Smartphone messages switched off.
Any ideas please? TIA

Do you have a satellite lock for your device? (driving chevron will be a colour, not grey)?

Thanks for this ... it finally recognised satellites in the southern hemisphere and adjusted itself - all good now, but I appreciate you replying.
