MyDrive connect identifies GO 5100 as 5000

Bought a Tomtom 5100 new and sealed. Opened it up and connected to Mydrive, only to have the software identify and link the account as a Tomtom Go 5000.
This is obviously incorrect and not want i want as a large part of buying the device was for the worldwide maps and unlimited speed camera updates.
The packaging and the about section on the device itself identifies that it's a GO 5100.
How can I speak to someone about this?

    This is the same hardware, only the rigts are different. Speed camera are free for 5100.

    That's my problem. Mydrive identifies it as a go 5000. Which only has Europe maps and 3 months speed camera trial.
