No route possible VIA 130/135

Updated device it will not show a route (showing "No route possible"). I've tried destinations from favorites list, POI's and by entering post codes. Laptop software is up to date and I have tried re-setting factory settings with no luck. Device knows where it is and shows favorites stars on the preview map.
Is the update corrupted or could there be something wrong with the 2yr old unit?

    On the route planning screen (Where you enter the address) is the UK Union flag showing screen to right... If 'NO' tap the displayed flag and select the UK Union flag....

    Flag is there, even tried changing it trying then changing back still not working.
