Did you get an error message during installation?

If the OS of your PC is W7 with SP1 or W8.1 or W10, without the Tomtom device connected to the PC:

1/ You can try again to uninstall MDC, do a Restart of your PC (Not Shut down or Sleep) then directly download and install the latest version MDC, take it here:
    - On this page, at the bottom, the green button "Download for Windows":
    - Or here directly from the official TomTom servers:

2/ If this doesn't improve but you have the "MyDrive Connect icon" in the taskbar next to the clock you can try the procedure of this FAQ. It's still valid, OpenGL Desktop is simply become OpenGL Dynamic.

3/ If nothing works, you can download the downgrade version here directly from the official TomTom servers:

This version is built like the previous before january 2018 with Visual C++ 2010. It doesn't force the update of the software, it will leave you quiet.
Double- click on the file, the installer will remove the MDC present on your PC before installing the downgrade version.

4/ Otherwise contact TomTom support for more help:

Thank you for your fast response.

Sorry for not being more specific.

There is no error. It just disappears and closes without error message.
    I am using W10.

Option 1 tried withour success before.
Option 2: not option for me because I don't have the icon as progrma does not start at all.
Will try again option 1 or option 3.

When you do the uninstall with the Windows function "Programs and Features", a window asks you if you want to erase the downloads, validate "Yes", then don't forget to "Restart" the PC with the Windows function.

yes, that's how I have done the uninstall process. But again, no success.

I have managed to launch the programa but it looks likes the software works apparently well but as soon as I connect the device the software crashes again without error messages.
I will try option 3 and if not in another PC.

    Thanks again for the help
