Broken Strap - Spark 3 - multiple breaks

Has anyone had an issue with the Sports Watch Straps breaking multiple times.

I purchased a Spark 3 in Aug-17. Strap broke after a few months and TomTom replaced in March-18. It is now broken again and I assume it will not be replaced this time. Seems like the strap needs to be replaced every 5/6 months and these don't come cheap, to have it delivered to Ireland on TomTom website is €35 (€25 + €10 delivery). Perhaps this is a designed problem to drive continued revenue but I think I will cut my loses and look for alternative watches.

The strap is covered under warranty (1+ years for the one that came with the watch, 6 months for replacements, I believe). Either use the self-service site in the link below or call Customer support and they will take care of it, they are very good about replacing them. To get the number for Customer Support, choose Contact at the bottom of this page, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen). This is definitely not a revenue generator for them, it is one of the reasons they left the wearables market as they have had to replace so many straps for free. You might as well look for another brand as TT has stopped all production and development so straps will eventually run out. May be time to cut your losses.

I hope this helps answer your question. If so, please mark it as a solution so others can look for it if they have the same question.
