TomTom Sports app

Svensson81Svensson81 Posts: 2 [Apprentice Traveler]
Hi All,

i bought a TomTom Adventurer 2nd hand.

I did a factory reset and afterwards installed the TomTom Sports app on both my computer and mobile Phone.

I did a manual reset of all data in the app on my computer and tried to do this as well on the app on my mobile phone.

In the program on my computer all data is gone. In the app on mobile, old data is still visible.

How can I synchronise the program on my computer and the app on my phone?

Many thanks in advance for your help !

Best regards,

When you did the factory reset did you register it under a new email so it sets up a new account and use that email to register the app? At this point, you should start from scratch. The steps are: uninstall the app, remove or forget the watch from the phone's BT menu, factory reset the watch, reinstall the app, select Pair New on the app, select Pair New on watch (press down from the clock and select Phone>Pair New, not Sync) and follow the prompts on the phone. You should not be pairing the watch first through the phone's BT menu; it is all done through the app and you must have the phone forget the watch in the BT menu before re-pairing.

I hope this helped answer your question. If so, please mark it as a solution so others can look for it if they have the same question.

I followed the steps exactly how you describe it.

However I still can't fully reset the application. There is still data from the old user in the program. Even in the software for Mac I discovered data again from the first user. Even when logging in with my account both in the app as connecting with the software on my PC.

Another problem detected : when synchronising data, average heart rates are not sent to the app. / software. although the function is activated on my watch.

    Can you help.?

    Many thanks in advance.

At this point I would suggest calling Customer Support to see what they can do. They are able to more deeply investigate and diagnose problems than we can here on the user forum. To get the number for Customer Support, select Contact Us at the bottom of this page, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).
