Fitness points randomly reset and aren't synching correctly

Yesterday I reset my watch because some bad data was clogging up storage, slowing down my watch. I had already earned 1032 points that day and they were showing up on my app. After the reset the points were gone from my watch as expected, but they still showed up on my app. I went for a run to see if everything was working correctly and earned about 500 points. After the run I synched my watch, but the points weren't added to those on the app.

This morning I went for another run to see if it would work this time since I started a new day with 0 points. I earned 754 points and synched my watch with my app. The points did show up this time. Later this day I wanted to track a short walk in freestyle modus, but to my surprise all my points were gone from my watch, while the steps, calories and other stats were still there. I earned 8 points with the walk, but they didn't show up again on my app.

Does anyone else have this issue? And how can I fix it?

    At this point I would suggest calling Customer Support to see what they can do. They are able to more deeply investigate and diagnose problems than we can here on the user forum. To get the number for Customer Support, select Contact Us at the bottom of this page, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).
