Anyone seen this? Tom Tom only shows the roads in my route when set to 3d View. All the side roads ect don't appear!
When I set appearance to 2d I can see the map and all the side roads.
Android 8.0 head unit.

I would be nice if user's took the time to read other posts before posting this issue over and over again.
Come on guys and girls take the time to read other posts.
It would save you a lot of problems......:notepad_spiral:0 -
I usually do a search on every forum, however this bug can be described differently by every person, and thus I didn't know what keywords to search for.0

@Vjkdigital,
In your post you refer to a "Android 8.0 head unit"
If you look at all the posts about key work here is "head unit"
IT IS NOT SUPPORTED
But users keep post over and over again with out reading other posts.
Then you add to "TestDr" post which is about a Smartphones.
Yours being the "Head Unit"
This is such a waste of time when this forum section is about Smartphones.
I just wish user's would just stick to what this forum section is about.
"Smartphones"0 -
Then it shouldn't be listed in Play store if it's not suitable for a android environment like a head unit.
Seems rather stupid that a NAVIGATION app cant be run in a CAR device where most people are likely to use it.0 -
@Vjkdigital,
Did you check your radio first?
What GPS apps are supported?
Most likely Google, or IGO or Copilot.
These in most cases come with the app or apps pre installed on the radio.
You will not find anywhere that it supports TomTomGO app.
You want TomTom on a car radio see this link:
https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/in-dash-navigation/
But only for the car companies that are listed and the radio that comes with the car.
So how is that stupid????
All companies look at their profit line and make their decisions based on that.
As for Google you can download any of there app that are posted.
It does not mean they are compatible with the smartphone, Tablet or Radio you want to install it on.
PS:
I have never worked for TomTom nor plan too.0
