After trying to update satnav goes straight to recovery mode and after a minute cogwheel stops and that is it.. Do not ask me to do a drumroll reset as this does not work.
Have searched this forum and no one seems to have a clue what to do. TOMTOM must have one of the worst customer support team I've encountered.
Just tell me is it possible to wipe the memory and start again

This useless faq seems to be the only one available for most problems. Have tried it numerous and still no joy. It seems a common problem beyond the capabilities of the tomtom software team.0
