    If you are referring to an external chest strap, press down from the clock, go to Sensors> Heart and set it for External. This is all laid out in the manual (http://download.tomtom.com/open/manuals/watch2016/index.htm). TomTom will not comment on planned or future updates publicly (here or elsewhere) so we will just have to wait and see.
