I want to mount the TOM TOM on dashboard , rather than windscreen.
I am using latest version of software v18.103

You change the orientation of the device by reversing the rear mount

See page 10 of the manual http://download.tomtom.com/open/manuals/VIA_53/refman/TomTom-VIA-EU-UM-en-gb.pdf...you can easily change the rotation of your device. Push the button on the back of the device to release the mount, then slide the mount out. Insert it back into the other side of the device0
