Go 910 not being seen by the home software.

Trying to connect my Go910 to the PC to update the maps and the HOM software is not recognizing the device. although the USB status of the PC says a TomTom Go910 is connected in device manager.

I am connecting via the dock unit into a USB port on the rear of the PC.

Can anyone please suggest a solution to this? (Replacing the device is not financially possible.)

    Sadly not. I've tried the recommendations there but no joy :(

    Tried the pin reset too as well as downloading the "home images" folder and copying it into the Home 2 folder - no joy. TomTom Home 2 will not recognize the fact my GO910 is connected even though the PC does.

    No other solutions available to this one? Right now I cannot update the maps on my TomTom which means, amongst other things, there are certain stretches of road (i.e. the A11) where its now dual carriage ways and 70mph but TomTom says its still a single carriageway with a 50 limit so I have the overspeed alert constantly going off....... :disappointed:
