Pole mount or GoPro 3-way mount?
1. The bandit pole mount is straight - telescopic extension-type mount. I think it's longer than the GoPro option.
2. The GoPro 3-Way mount can be used as a stick mount, but also folds so you can alter the angles (as opposed to TomTom's straight pole). It also has the tripod functionality - assuming it supports the weight distribution of the heavier Bandit.
Neither is cheap, so only want to purchase one. The standard bandit kit comes with the GoPro adapter, so that would be used.
My feeling, without having seen the bandit mount in person, is that the GoPro version will be more versatile and could be the better purchase.
Thoughts welcome!

However, you might consider saving your money and buying a cheaper (not TomTom or GoPro branded) pole. I should have done this in the first place. When I bought my second action camera - with a universal mount - there was no way I could find an adaptor for the TomTom mount. Hence, I couldn't use any of my TomTom accessories/mounts with the new camera. I've since bought a second pole-mount on eBay, similar to TomTom's, but for about 1/10 the price.
Your comments are appreciated, but I did make a purchase recently and opted for the official TomTom stick.
I got a reasonable deal, and it's a really great pole mount, but good point about it only being useful for this camera. If I move on from the bandit, it will have no use!
This is a great concept and decided to buy it for our Maui family vacation. Literally used it once and it came apart. The handle is sturdy, but the rest of it is flimsy. Cannot believe I spent that much money on this. Love my GoPro Hero 3+ Black but not this accessory at all.
