no map found on the Start 25

After updating my Tomtom Start 25 I have an error message No Map Found. After three attempts to find a cure on Tomtoms telephone help and countless attempts following on line help I am at a loss to know what to do. The maps seem to download on to my computer but fails to transfer onto the device. All appears ok until it gets to around 38% the a message appears saying it has failed. The temptation is to gently lower it into the dust bin and buy another one - it's only money! Then a brain wave is there a service centre in the UK that will do the job for me?

I have followed the instructions in this viedo several times with no luck. I do not get a
map corrupted notice so there is no option to delete the it. The description of the symptons in the vedio align with my problem, sadly all I finish up with is a failed notice.0 -
