Cannot connect to iPhone after watch update

Hi,
This weekend I have updated the watch (Runner 4) to the latest version (now on 1.7.62). Since then it's not possible to connect to my iPhone (X) anymore. Tried to remove watch as paired device from my phone and also did factory reset on my watch. Still not working.
What happens:
Please help out.

What happens:
- In the iPhone app I go to option to add watch (start looking for watch)
- On my watch I also go to the option of adding phone
- iPhone finds my watch --> I press the watch button in the app
- Watch shows bluetooth pairing number
- I enter the number on my iPhone
- Watch goes back to main menu. Phone continues to show screen searching for watch.
Please help out.

If you search the forums you will find this is a known issue for many users with the recent updates. They are reportedly working on a fix, but no timeline has been communicated but in the meanwhile you always have the option of syncing via computer. If you go to this post and ask the moderator to roll back your firmware version it should fix it. They also may be able to put you on 1.7.64, which is in beta and supposedly fixes it. You can also try a factory reset in case there are simply too many pairing codes on the watch.
