TomTom VIO charging

My tom tom vio charging over night but only charged to 80%. As soon as connected to phone it jump from 80 to 78%. I used supplied charging cable.
Is this normal or is my device dicky?

Welcome to the Community & sorry for my late reply!
Are you using the wall charger or computer to charge your VIO using the supplied USB cable? I would advise you to use the wall charger and keep it for 2-3 hours to see if it improves the situation.
