How to turn on heart rate monitor?

had my tomtom spark 3 for about 4 weeks now and i cant for the life of me figure out how to switch the heart rate monitor on. it just shows 2 lines flashing. anyone help? there is nothing about it on my app either

    First check that you have a Cardio model: look on the back of the watch for the LEDs and go to About and see if it says Cardio at the top. If it is not a Cardio model you would need an external strap which you activate by going to Sensors>Heart>External. If it is a Cardio model make sure it is turned on by going to Heart>Sensors>On (make sure it is not on External).
