Can I still 'Buy' Lifetime maps / Lifetime Traffic for a TT satnav even if that particular model is no longer supported for the 'FREE' Live maps / Live Traffic ?

I.e., pay to continue to use updated maps / traffic.

Any SatNav, as I don't have one as yet, but just trying to ascertain if maps / traffic can be bought at 'End of it's useful life' (as defined by TomTom), rather than it's actual life.

i,e., so as to use the SatNav until it physically breaks / expires for another reason ! ... not just when TomTom no longer wants to offer 'FREE' Livetime support the SatNav.

You won't be able to buy maps or traffic for a model already deemed as EOL by Tomtom.

Existing subscriptions will be allowed to run out for EOL units but no new ones allowed.

    Hi dhn,

Many thanks for that info ... obviously another case of built in manufacturers obsolescence.

Shame that manufactures need to do this, but might be a case of inability to keep up compatbility with older versions.

Still, one can still use SatNav with outdated maps
