In the process of ordering the map in TomTom application (on Windows 7) i get the error message:

An error has occured: The internet server had an internal error. It may be a temporary problem. Please try again later.

I've tried to order the map few times in the last two weeks and the error is still the same.

There is no problem with the router or the internet connection. Ive tried more computers and more Internet connections. The problem is still the same. There is no firewall and no proxy server.

My device is: TomTom XL IQ Routes Edition

    Check that the serial number is not listed here https://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/topic/name/end-of-life

    If it is then there are no more maps for that device
